GOTS and GRS certifications
At Ledatex, we firmly believe that textile quality must go hand in hand with environmental and social responsibility. For this reason, the company strictly integrates and complies with the parameters established by the most important international traceability and sustainability standards: GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GRS (Global Recycle Standard).
GOTS
Through the adoption of the GOTS standard, Ledatex guarantees the management and promotion of textile products made from organic fibers, ensuring control over the entire production chain—from the raw material harvesting fields to final processing. This standard goes beyond certifying the organic origin of materials (such as organic cotton); it also imposes strict ecological and social criteria, banning the use of hazardous chemicals and dyes harmful to human health and the environment, while safeguarding workers’ rights and conditions throughout the entire process.
GRS
Simultaneously, through the GRS standard, Ledatex responds to the growing demand for a circular economy by promoting the use of recycled materials. This certification attests to the traceability of recycled products, verifying compliance with advanced environmental and social criteria at every stage of production—from reducing the use of virgin resources to the responsible management of waste and emissions.
